George Zimmerman allegedly threatened a private investigator of a filmmaker doing a documentary on slain black teen Trayvon Martin which is being produced by rapper Jay-Z, authorities said.

"Spectrum News reported that Zimmerman threatened to feed Warren to an alligator, saying, "...

According to a Seminole County Sheriff's report, Warren was hired by production company Cinemart Productions, which was producing a documentary about Martin's 2012 death, to track down people to participate in the documentary.

George Zimmerman, who was acquitted of murdering unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin, has been charged with stalking a private investigator working on a Jay-Z documentary about the case. Zimmerman contacted the executive producer of the documentary, expressing his agitation over this, and he allegedly sent threatening texts and emails to the private investigator. Zimmerman then called the agency, according to the police report, and asked for further communication to be through his lawyer.

Zimmerman was served summons on May 3 and will appear at an arraignment on May 30, the office of state attorney Phil Archer said. Another woman told police in January 2015 that Zimmerman threw a wine bottle at her during an argument, but she also recanted. And, when asked by Warren to stop contacting him, he allegedly stated "I'll show up at your home you FUCKING PUSSY!"

One of the texts included a link to an article in which Zimmerman is quoted as saying, "I know how to handle people who f-- with me".

Zimmerman told The Blast news site that "anyone who fucks with my parents will be fed to an alligator".

Sgt. Shannon Seiple, a 17-year department veteran who runs the Domestic Violence/Elder Services/Crisis Intervention Team, knows Zimmerman from previous interactions.

The messages "continued to repeat statements of 'I'll see you before you realize it, '" the affidavit said.

Warren told deputies he did not hear from Zimmerman again until December, when Gasparro told him an "extremely agitated" Zimmerman was sending threatening messages, according to deputies who requested a warrant. Zimmerman claimed he had been assaulted by a patron.
