TRUMP TOWN? New Jerusalem Neighborhood May be Named After Trump
The US President Donald trump said that he could be sent to Israel for the opening ceremony of the American Embassy in Jerusalem.
The president made these comments during a news conference at the White House with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The us President stressed that he considers the "ideal" location of the Embassy of the Arnon in West Jerusalem.
The move comes as result of US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital in December 2017 when the politician instructed the US State Department to launch the process of moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv, to Jerusalem. In addition, Trump's newly appointed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will visit Israel, as well as Jordan and Saudi Arabia, on his first foreign trip on the job this weekend.
"I may go. I'm very proud of it", Trump told reporters. It's going to be handsome, and it'll be somewhat temporary, but it could be for many years, because by the time they build it the other way, it's going to be many, many years.

The announcement deepened anger across the Arab world, particularly among Palestinians who see East Jerusalem as the capital of their future state.
Trump said he had nearly signed off on a proposal to build a new $1 billion embassy but baulked when he considered the cost.
He said that he called David Friedman, the USA ambassador to Israel, and discussed the expenditure. "It's USD1 billion". And I had my name half-signed, then I noticed the figure, and I just didn't - I never got to the word 'Trump". Let's not go from a billion dollars to $150,000. I said, "What?" He said, "I can build it for $150,000, the embassy". The building, which is in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Arnona, will initially consist of the United States ambassador and a small team, the White House said in January.
Friedman said, "I can build it for $150,000" by renovating part of a current USA property in Jerusalem al-Quds, and "instead of 10 years from now, we can open it up in three months", according to Trump.
