Pittsburgh Penguins' Matt Murray makes save on Flyers Nolan Patrick in the third period of game 4 of the first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia Flyers, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

The Penguins have made scoring look quite easy at times, and perhaps no play illuminated that more than Sidney Crosby's goal Wednesday night to give Pittsburgh a 4-0 lead (Crosby can make the hard look more simple, but this was a bit different).

The Penguins won Game Three by a score of 5-1, and have now outscored the Flyers 17-1 in the team's three victories so far this series. Shortly thereafter, Phil Kessel-to-Sidney Crosby-to-Evgeni Malkin puts the Penguins in front on the power play.

The Penguins lead the first-round playoff series 3-1 as its shifts to Pittsburgh for Game 5 on Friday. It was Crosby's 172nd career playoff point, tying Mario Lemieux, his old landlord, for the most in Pittsburgh history.

-Tampa Bay defeated New Jersey 3-1.

Both teams played without key cogs in their lineup: Sean Couturier (who had career highs with 31 goals and 76 points) was injured Tuesday at practice in a vicious collision with teammate Radko Gudas; the Pens played without top-line forward Patric Hornqvist because of an undisclosed injury.

Politicians Respond to Bevin's Remarks on Teacher Protests
Bevin acknowledged his comments may have been hurtful, but teachers said the apology it wasn't honest . Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes said via Twitter, "Actual translation: Meant what I said ".

Riley Sheahan's first goal of the series at 15:46 finished off the Flyers, who now have to win the last three games of the series to advance.

Kris Letang tripled the Penguins' lead in the 2nd after burying a shot off Andrew MacDonald's stick and the goal post, chasing Brian Elliott from the game. "The puck ended up right on my stick", Crosby said. Michal Neuvirth relived Elliott and it didn't matter.

And as the Flyers walked off the ice for what will likely be the last time at home this season, they did so with their heads collectively down and the sound of boos still raining down from the few fans still remaining.

Claude Giroux, Wayne Simmonds and Jakub Voracek have combined for zero goals, four assists and are a combined -9 for the series.

Giroux, who scored 102 points during the season, has not scored a posteason goal since 2014. Be sure to check back the day after every game for a look Through the Lens of the team's latest game.

"One game away for the season to be over", Giroux said.

You come to understand that there will always be comparisons and arguments over Murray and Marc-Andre Fleury, but the guy in the pipes is getting the job done and at the right time for the third straight year.
