A source that worked on organizing the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival told Page Six that the Destiny's Child reunion was put together in part "to make up for the fact [Beyonce] was unable to perform previous year". It had initially been planned for last year's festival but was called off due to the artist's second pregnancy. Her husband Jay-Z also made an appearance, as did her sister Solange. "Coachella, thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline", she said.

Alongside the video, the Wrinkle in Time director told her 1.94million followers: 'Beyoncé's message to every other performer who has ever headlined #Coachella.

Music stars like Adele, Iggy Azalea, Chance the Rapper, and Sam Smith are in awe of Beyonce's historic performance at Coachella 2018.

Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined Bey on stage to perform a few of the group's classic songs - "Say My Name", "Soldier" and "Lose My Breath".

The trio last performed together at the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show, after going on hiatus to pursue solo careers in 2003 and finally disbanding three years later.

Policy paralysis by Congress affected military preparedness: PM Modi at DefExpo 2018
In less than four years, we have issued 794 more export permissions, for a total value of over $1.3 billion", Modi said. India has never desired to covet the territory of any other nation, rather has been an apostle of peace, he said.

Beyoncé was supposed to headline the festival past year, but was forced to pull out due to her pregnancy.

As expected, Beyoncé's set was electrifying and filled with odes to various aspects of black music, history and culture.

Her performance with Jay-Z gave a preview of the couple's upcoming On The Run II tour set for this summer.

And judging by the reaction on social media, Queen B will definitely be invited back.
