New Overwatch Uprising Event Must Explain Blackwatch and Talon Motives

Overwatch

While the teaser released from Blizzard looks like the same as the one we got a year ago, there is an interesting little tidbit at the end that suggests there may be something new in the works for Uprising.

Game director Jeff Kaplan previously announced that "Overwatch" will have a new feature called "Avoid as Teammate" [VIDEO]that will allow video game fans to ban a certain player during match sessions. Or just another secret mission that lends insight into the modern state of the in-game world?

Waymo announces new fleet of self-driving Jaguar I-Pace crossovers
On Tuesday, Waymo and Jaguar announced plans to jointly develop a large fleet of all-electric, self-driving luxury vehicles. The vehicles will initially be accessible only via Waymo's ride hailing app. "This is a production-ready vehicle".

Blizzard Entertainment will launch this year's "Uprising" event on April 20 as "Overwatch" will have to work together to stop Null Sector from destroying Kingsrow. Because the event is focused on Overwatch lore, Uprising might shed some much-needed light on Blackwatch's operations before its eventual fall. It also gives those that missed out on the previous event a chance to earn those skins that they have previously missed out on. These ideas stem from how the words in the teaser briefly change with some noise, from "File 00382 - King's Row Uprising" to "00273 - King's Row Uprising", and "Entered into record 7 years go" to "Entered into record 8 years ago". "File 00382 - King's Row Uprising" appears to change to what fans believe says "File 00274 - Blackwatch Archives".

The teaser video for Uprising was put up on the official Overwatch Twitter. Blackwatch worked along Overwatch and helped carry out missions, but the information stops there. This was wildly successful the first time around, with the Google Trends tracking of Overwatch showing that the game hasn't reached a popularity equal to the last one since it ended.
