Ndamukong Suh is on the open market after the Dolphins opted not to bring him back

There has been a substantial amount of interest in free-agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh since the Dolphins made a decision to release him at the beginning of the new league year.

Last week, Suh said he was impressed by the Rams during his visit and they were considered the favorite to sign him.

Opposing offensive lines will now have to deal with the combination of Suh and 2017 Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald, which is a daunting proposition.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Suh, a three-time first-team All-Pro selection, entered free agency after being released by the Miami Dolphins on March 14.

First the Rams pounced on opportunity at the start free agency to assemble the best cover corner due in the National Football League by trading for All-Pro cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib.

Suh, 31, chose the Rams over the New Orleans Saints, Tennessee Titans, New York Jets and, perhaps, the Seattle Seahawks. With Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp returning at wide receiver and Pharoh Cooper and Josh Reynolds poised for breakout seasons, the Rams have a nice bevy of weapons for Goff to work with.

But employees are likely to suffer, as will smaller toymakers who lack the diversified revenue streams of companies like Hasbro. In fact, United States births hit a record low in 2016, with the current ration at 62 births per 1,000 women.

The Jets are out on free agent DT Ndamukong Suh.

Together with Michael Brockers, the Rams are stacked at defensive tackle but not so at defensive end, where they traded Michael Quinn to the Dolphins this offseason.

It's unclear if the Jets got scared off by Ndamukong Suh, but the Rams got scary.

The Lions drafted Suh No. 2 out of Nebraska back in 2010. "We're looking forward to the season".

It all seemed like a preposterous dream when Suh officially hit the open market after the Miami Dolphins released him in a cost-cutting move. Meanwhile, the front office has kept aboard rising star safety Lamarcus Joyner on the franchise tag, re-signed veteran cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman on a three-year, $15 million deal, and added former Pro Bowl cornerback Sam Shields on a one-year deal. Suh has started all but two games over that stretch, and compiled 51½ career sacks.
