Turkish, Iranian, Russian presidents to meet in Istanbul

Russia Turkey and Iran presidents do not rule out meeting over Syria

The sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, said Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Hassan Rouhani discussed latest developments in Syria.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu arrived in Tehran for an official visit on Wednesday and before meeting Iran's president, he met and talked with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

In the meeting with Mevlut Cavusoglu in Tehran, Iran's president emphasized the expansion of friendly and brotherly relations with neighboring countries, adding Iran wants to strengthen relations with Turkey in all fields.

Since Jan. 21 alone, rocket and mortar attacks launched by the PYD/PKK terrorist group in the Syrian enclave of Afrin have killed seven civilians and injured 113 in Hatay and Kilis.

For his part, Cavusoglu blamed the US for hatching new plots in the region to undermine the growing ties between Ankara and Tehran, calling for close cooperation to thwart those schemes.

Tarantino expresses regret over Thurman stunt incident
Thurman claims that Weinstein's company at the time , Miramax, withheld the footage from her in an attempt to keep her from suing. He said: " I told her it would be OK. "And she agreed with it, she knew it would look good and she trusted me to do it".

Citing Al-Alam, another Iranian state channel, state channel IRIB reported without producing any evidence that the Turkish army used chemical weapons during its Operation Olive Branch to clear PYD/PKK and Daesh terrorists from Afrin.

Cavusoglu emphasized "we believe that we must stand against conspiracies that are aimed at undermining the territorial integrity of the countries of the region".

The visit by Cavusoglu came as Turkey launched a major military campaign in the northwestern Syrian city of Afrin against US -backed Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG).

The YPG is regarded by Turkey as the Syrian branch of the banned Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), which has been fighting for autonomy in the southeast of Turkey.
