We already know that Lenovo-owned Motorola will launch a handful of smartphones under its Moto G, X, and Z-series. Motorola appears ready to push forward with 18:9 displays as well, with the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus each adopting that ratio in Full HD (1080p) formats. This is an interesting development, since the Moto E5's predecessor, the Moto E4 had the fingerprint sensor located under the Home button on the front of the screen. The Moto G6 will ship with 3GB or 4GB of RAM along with 32GB and 64GB of inbuilt storage, respectively.
The Moto G6 Plus is rumored to have a dual-lens rear camera. However, the Plus model will come with a Snapdragon 630 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM, as reported by the online source. The Moto G6's battery weighs in at 3000mAh, but the G6 Plus gets a bump to 3200mAh. This includes the Moto G6, the G6 Plus, and the G6 Play. With that Motorola is going to accommodate a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display, which won't seem that big due to a compact body.
The Moto X5 leak shows minimal bezels around the display, bringing it closer to other recent flagships from rival companies.
For starters, the upcoming Moto X5 seems to have a notch at the top like Apple's iPhone X, with status bar icons on its sides, a dual camera setup, and a speaker. A third Moto Z3 handset that would use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and a high-resolution display could hit the market a while after the Moto Z3 and Z3 Play, which we expect to see unveiled at the end of February. There's also a new white software navigation button - though Droid-Life notes that you'll probably be able to replace that with the standard three-button Android navigation buttons. Notably, the handset will sport a total of four cameras (two on the front and two on the back) of unknown specifications.
The differences will also be in the display department where the G6 will feature a 5.7-inch FHD+ display, while the G6 Plus will use a 5.93-inch FHD+ display. This will help them keep up with the current trend while keeping the same form factor to support past Moto Mods. Besides, the back of the Moto X5 seems to a panel similar to the one came with the Moto X4 past year. We once again mention that these leaks should be taken with a pinch of salt.
