Roy Moore Accuser Describes 1977 Assault: I Was "Begging Him To Stop"

Mitch McConnell Tells Roy Moore To Leave Senate Race, Says 'I Believe The Women'

McConnell Calls for Roy Moore to Drop Out of Senate Race

An Alabama woman alleges Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager, her attorney Gloria Allred said Monday.

"If you tell anyone about this, no one will ever believe you, '" she said Moore told her.

"Mr. Moore attacked me when I was a child", Nelson said, recounting that Moore was a regular customer at a restaurant where she worked as a waitress when she was 15 and 16.

In tears, Nelson said in NY that when she was 16, Moore offered her a ride home from the restaurant where she worked.

Republicans orchestrating their response to the allegations is not improper and certainly not the same thing as colluding with Democrats and the media to publish a false report. "I think they have a political agenda, and I think they're running that agenda". The other women said that their encounters with Roy Moore did not progress past kissing.

Moore, too, has tried to raise money from the controversy, writing in a fundraising pitch that the "vicious and sleazy attacks against me are growing more vicious by the minute".

"When I got home, I went to my room, and the following morning, my neck was black and blue and purple", Nelson said.

She then fell out of the auto and he drove away. I tried fighting him off while yelling at him to stop.

Priti Patel held undisclosed meetings in Israel
Downing Street officials are already furious with Ms Patel, who has also admitted misleading journalists about the Israel trip. May yesterday summoned Patel to No 10 to "remind her of the obligations which exist under the ministerial code".

A reporter defending Roy Moore appeared to compare the sexual misconduct allegations against the GOP Senate candidate to stealing a lawnmower.

Nelson and Allred say they'd like to see the Senate Judiciary Committee subpoena Moore to testify under oath, and that Nelson would be willing to do the same. McConnell was also asked whether he believed the allegations by Corfman and the three other women.

But a write-in candidacy would be complicated by the fact that Moore's name has already been printed on absentee voter ballots and the deadline for withdrawal from the race has long since passed.

A new accuser said today that as a teenager in the 1970s she was sexually assaulted by Roy Moore in a locked vehicle, further rocking the Alabama Republican's race for an open Senate seat. "I believe the women, yes", he said.

But the state party and many other Alabama Republicans have not wavered in their support of Moore, who scored a decisive primary victory in September over Luther Strange, who was appointed to fill the Sessions seat on an interim basis and was supported by President Donald Trump. These allegations came four and a half weeks before the general election on December 12.

He threatened to sue the Post over the weekend and said the allegations were a smear campaign by his political opponents.

But Moore has remained defiant.
