Hamas: Deal reached with Palestinian rival Fatah

Palestinian factions Hamas and Fatah reach agreement in Cairo
A Hamas official told Reuters that details are expected to be released at a noon news conference in Cairo, where unity talks between the rival factions began on Tuesday.
The prime minister said he considered Hamas "responsible for all acts of terrorism originating in Gaza", and called on the Palestinian Authority to prevent terror in the West Bank.
The Fatah official stressed that President Mahmoud Abbas instructed the delegation not to return without a reconciliation deal.
Thursday's signing of the agreement in Cairo was reached after two days of Egyptian-brokered negotiations.
"Egypt's involvement and the entry of the PA into Gaza is an opportunity for change, but as long as Hamas remains an armed terrorist organization, Palestinian reconciliation is a legitimacy for Hamas and terrorism rather than a takeover [by the PA]".
The latest reconciliation efforts come as US President Donald Trump has sought to revive peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians and met separately with Abbas and Netanyahu on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in NY last month.
An emotional reunion of Indian players and parents in Delhi
United States of America and Ghana clash on Monday in the next group game, before the Americans conclude group play vs. But India's inability to maintain possession for more than two passes in the opposition half seemed to embolden them.
Fatah, the more moderate of the two groups, previously controlled Gaza but was ousted by Hamas a decade ago, leaving Palestine split in two.
The accord will see the consensus government officially take full administrative control of Gaza by December 1, according to a statement issued by Egypt's state media center.
Fatah negotiator Azzam al-Ahmed and Hamas' representative Saleh al-Arouri smiled and shook hands in a short ceremony presided over by Egypt's chief of intelligence, Khalid Fawzi. Abbas has said he would not take over Gaza until Hamas gave up its weapons.
Hamas seized Gaza from Fatah in a near civil war in 2007 and the two factions have been at loggerheads ever since.
The U.S. says it wants the Palestinian Authority to take control of Gaza again.
One of the key sticking points will be the fate of Hamas's 25,000-strong military wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades.
