Android Oreo comes with several improvements over the Android Nougat such as faster booting, extend battery life by cutting down on unnecessary activities of apps in the back ground, more fluid experiences to phones and tablets as well as improvements in security via Google Play Protect that checks suspicious activities and malwares in application.

HTC has just confirmed Android Oreo (Android 8.0) timeline for its smartphones.

Google has already launched the Android 8.0 aka Android Oreo operating system this month. According to the latest tweet from HTC official twitter handle, which confirms that HTC 10, HTC U Ultra and HTC U11 are the first set of HTC devices to receive Android Oreo update.

Google and Walmart team up against Amazon
An estimated 55 percent of Americans begin their online shopping trips on Amazon , according to a survey conducted a year ago . Now where have we seen that tech before? Meanwhile, Walmart will be offering the largest number of items through the platform.

Android Oreo has improved it and has added the ability to access notifications along with the app shortcuts. To which HTC replied, "We're excited to bring Android Oreo to HTC U11, HTC U Ultra, and HTC 10 owners worldwide!" "Stay tuned for more Oreo details & new products!" We know that Android Oreo will not be made available for most of the devices out there officially, but you can still enjoy the look and feel of it by downloading Android O Wallpapers, Ringtones and much more.

The free software is scheduled to be released this fall, most likely after making its debut on a new Pixel phone that Google is expected to begin selling in October. Pixel and Nexus users will be among the first to get the new update, which is not surprising at all.

As of now, few settings like the option to change the shape of icons and Google wallpapers are not seen on a few devices, hopefully, this might be rectified in the upcoming updates.
