Taylor Swift Testifies In Court Over DJ Who Allegedly Touched Her Inappropriately

Taylor Swift groping case David Mueller's case against singer dismissed

Mr Baldridge repeatedly interrupted Mueller during an aggressive cross-examination and noted that Mueller has said he lost an audio recording of a meeting he had with his bosses before they fired him. Coomer called it a lie.

Swift described Mueller's alleged actions as "horrifying and shocking", and said, "It was a devious and sneaky act".

He was sacked from his $150,000-a-year "dream job" at country station KYGO-FM after Swift's team reported the alleged assault to his boss. According to those who showed up to the public trial in support of Swift, the incomparably successful singer-songwriter stood her ground and never faltered.

The pop superstar testified for about an hour on Thursday, sometimes using unflinching language in giving her account of what happened.

"I'm a big fan, and I think it's awesome that she's standing up for herself and going to take the stand", said one fan.

Twitter commentaries took note of her strong presence, as well as the text of her suit against David Mueller, where she hopes that it will set an example for women who might have second thoughts about revealing any past moment of humiliation when inquired of them.

Testimony began on Tuesday and is expected to last nine days.

He and others at the station conducted their own investigation, which included the "damning" photograph of Swift and Mueller, Frank Bell's description of the alleged groping, and an interview with Mueller. She reacted, pushed her skirt down and moved closer to the woman. She said that she didn't notice anything odd occur as they posed for the camera.

When questioned by Mueller's lawyer, Gabriel McFarland on the incident, Taylor stood by what allegedly happened, including Mueller grabbing her "bare bottom".

(7) McFarland questioned why no one witnessed Mueller grabbing Swift's backside.

"As they were posing for the photo, I saw her fall into the female, she had an uncomfortable look on her face", Simbeck said. "I wanted to vomit and cry at the same time".

Taylor Swift groping case David Mueller's case against singer dismissed

David Mueller maintains his stance that the allegation against him is false.

Taylor Swift's former bodyguard told how he witnessed the pop star's skirt being flipped up before she was then groped by a DJ as he gave evidence in a USA courtroom Friday.

'This is what happened, it happened to me, I know it was him, ' said Swift, who was 23-years-old at the time of the incident. The Shake It Off hitmaker fired back in a countersuit, accusing him of sexual assault and battery.

"He stayed latched on to my bare ass cheek".

Swift was confident and assertive in her testimony.

Swift said that someone would have had to have been underneath her to see the actual groping during the photo shoot "and we didn't have anyone positioned there", drawing laughs from the audience in the courtroom.

"It was a definite grab". I never have said anything different, ' she revealed.

The case is being tried in federal court under a law allowing the proceeding when the parties live in separate states and the dispute involves a damages claim higher than £58,000.

Wednesday's testimony highlighted an initial attempt to keep the encounter in Denver out of the spotlight.

She said she didn't contact police in order to protect her daughter, saying she didn't want the incident to "define her life".
