Ayesha Gulalai while calling on Pakistan Tehrek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said that he should apologize from the nation as there is still time for this.
Former PTI leader Ayesha Gulalai had alleged on Tuesday that she was leaving the PTI and claimed that women affiliated with the party faced constant harassment within the party ranks.
Khan, along with the PTI's top brass, batted down the allegations, accusing the ruling PMLN of using money to defame political rivals.
Gulalai, however, told Reuters she stood by her allegations, adding that she was not surprised at being the target of online threats, including calls to douse her in acid and raze her home. She accused the PTI chief of sending her lewd text messages.
The resolution read, "Imran Khan behaved immorally with member National Assembly Ayesha Gulalai and the courageous people of our tribal areas which damaged the respect of the people of this province". He suspected the PML-N had used Gulalai and their "old smear tactics" to achieve their own ends.
Ayesha Gulalai Wazir made a decision to part ways with PTI after leveling allegations of objectional text messages against its Chairman Imran Khan.
Gulalai also sent a letter to IGP of KP Salahuddin Mehsud asking him to take notice of the statement of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Transport and Mass Transit Malik Shah Muhammad Khan Wazir who has asked for a tribal Jirga to demolish the house of MNA Ayesha Gulalai in Bannu. She said that she would present all evidence if summoned by the parliamentary committee, formed to probe allegations by her against the PTI chairman.
