Google has launched 'Trusted Contacts' for Apple iOS devices months after the launch of the Android version. The app first launched on Android past year.

Trusted Contacts is primarily a safety-and-awareness app, one that could, for example, put a parent's mind at ease by showing them where their child is and making it possible to get their location in the case of an emergency.

Reckitt Benckiser stock rose 2 percent early Wednesday in London, extending its increase for the year to 16 percent. McCormick projects robust growth that the hot sauce category is experiencing would continue.

It's worth noting here that users can deny a request to share their location, but if they don't respond it will be automatically shared at a pre-determined time after the request is made. Google says the new version of Trusted Contacts can now be set to delay up to an hour before automatically sharing a user's location with someone else, or it can be set to do so immediately. If you need to ask for someone's location or share your own, everyone will get the information. Android users can also add contacts by phone number or email, which is sent as a message that users can click through to connect to the app's service. Last December on Android we introduced the Trusted Contacts app, a new way for you to let your friends and family know you're safe. If they're anxious about you, they can request to see your location. This will allow users to easily enable permanent location sharing with selected contacts and find them directly within Google Maps. With the latest update (v7.70), users will now be able to make video calls to contacts from within the Truecaller app. The company has also updated the app to app support to 9 new languages, bringing total support to 25 languages across the world.
