In an act of stupidity, an 18-year-old killed her younger sister after driving under influence of alcohol and live streaming video on Instagram when her vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a field. Neither 14-year-old girl was wearing a seatbelt.

Sanchez is seen broadcasting herself live on Instagram as she drives down the road and raps along with the music.

The California Highway Patrol says Sanchez was driving a Buick Century on Henry Miller Road east of Mercey Springs Road, about 10 miles east of Interstate 5 and just northeast of Los Banos.

The Instagram video appears to cut to Sanchez mourning her dying sister, identified by the Sheriff's Office as Jacqueline Sanchez.

The Instagram video shows Obdulia Sanchez lean over a motionless body and say: 'My sister is dead - I don't give a [expletive]. "I f****** killed my sister, OK?"

"Hey, everybody, if I go to f-- jail for life, you already know why", she began, adjusting the camera so that it showed her younger sister, motionless and bleeding from the head.

"Wake up baby, I'm f**king sorry baby, I did not mean to kill you sweetie."

The video has reportedly been pulled from social media sites, but still managed get lots of circulation around the internet. Another 14-year-old girl sustained "major injuries", California Highway Patrol Sergeant Darin Heredia told BuzzFeed News. "Look", Sanchez said, pointing her phone at her sister's bloodied head. I don't care. I killed my sister.

The California Highway Patrol says 18-year-old Obdulia Sanchez was driving the vehicle Friday when it veered onto the shoulder of a road in the San Joaquin Valley.

The other 14-year-old passenger suffered what authorities call "severe trauma" to one of her legs in the crash.

'At first we didn't even want to believe it was real, ' she said.

Obdulia is now in the Merced County Jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter while under the influence and DUI. They say the victim, Jacqueline, was supposed to celebrate her Quinceanera (15th birthday) Sunday.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help with the deceased teen's funeral expenses.
