Andromeda will not get story DLC - anon

Mass Effect: Andromeda's Story DLC Cancellation Has Been Denied by BioWare

Mass Effect Andromeda Story DLC May Be Canceled

A Facebook post by what was claimed to be an Austrian company called Sinclair Networks alleged that BioWare had yanked it off development duties and cancelled all DLC plans for the game.

This makes "Mass Effect: Andromeda" the first game in the video game franchise that will not get single-player expansion, which upsets fans who have been expecting otherwise. While that Facebook post turned out to be a hoax, sources are telling Kotaku the gist of the post was correct: Mass Effect: Andromeda will not be getting any single-player DLC.

Alarm bells would have certainly started going off during E3 2017, when no mention of Mass Effect Andromeda DLC was made during EA Play.

In April, as we reported, BioWare scaled down its Montreal studio, whose staff had developed Mass Effect: Andromeda with help from BioWare's other studios in Edmonton and Austin.

Andy Murray spotted struggling during Friday's practice
I thought past year was more hard because in two weeks we didn't finish one practice on our own terms. Murray has played in one tournament since losing to Stan Wawrinka in the French Open semifinals.

"There are few people left at BioWare Montreal who could even work on it", Schreier explains.

The site spoke with three people familiar with BioWare's plans, but the studio has not released any official statements. Apparently the disappointing reviews and numerous problems the game has had have resulted in Bioware cutting some planned additions.

Only a small team in BioWare Montreal remains to work on the multiplayer mode and patch support for Mass Effect: Andromeda, but most employees have been transferred to other projects such as Star Wars Battlefront II, the next Dragon Age, and Anthem.

If you're one of the millions of Mass Effect fans that were yearning at the chance to play some additional content, you're unfortunately in for a rude awakening. Despite Andromeda perhaps not living up to expectations, it's a bit saddening to see the series potentially end on a down note.
