Apple’s WWDC 2017: Announcements and Highlights 4 hours ago Vivek2 Min Read

On the hardware front, the company announced a new iPad Pro, a new iMac Pro and a completely new device called the HomePod, a smart speaker to rival the likes of Amazon's Echo and the Google Home.

This comes after Apple's decision to end support for any applications or devices that use 32-bit processors. This means that phones and tablets running Apple's 32-bit A6 (and earlier) chip like the iPhone 5, iPhone 5C and the fourth generation iPad won't be able to use iOS 11.

Apple SVP of Software Engineering, Craig Federighi, announced the features of Apple's latest iOS 11 at the WWDC 2017 event.

What's new in iOS 11 and how it compares to iOS 10.

Users can also enable an auto-text response that they are driving or choose specific contacts who can break through the feature in the case of an important message.

'Selfish' O'Mahony determined to make his mark in captaincy
Back in 2013, Warren Gatland called the retired Wales winger up and asked him if he fancied joining the Lions squad. Cooper said he was pleased with the way the players had connected throughout the week.

Since June 2015, any newly created apps have been required to support 64-bit processing, so any that have been updated during this period should not be affected by the changes. This requirement didn't, however, extend to apps already on the App Store.

What's more, in iOS 10.3, Apple released a tool to that names and shames apps that will be rendered obsolete by the next major update.

Moreover, Apple's iOS 11 Control Center has been the talking point which now lets you customize shortcuts. Back in March 2016, Apple made its first attempt to answer these queries with a new iOS update but still seem to miss the mark.

Apple is targeting distracted motorists with a new feature that will automatically block incoming iPhone notifications while you drive. You can also sort conversations by the amount of storage they take up, and delete them on an individual basis. Despite the fact that iPhone 8 would not be unveiled at least before the fall, iOS 11 may make its appearance soon.
