Earlier, the government of Uttar Pradesh under the chief minister Yogi Adityanath while fulfilling its poll promise announced waiver of farm loans worth Rs. 36,000 cr.

Patel was arrested from Nayagaon in Neemuch to prevent the commission of cognisable offences, City Superintendent of Police Abhishek Diwan said.

Heavy deployment of police is in place at the Nayagaon barrier along Madhya Pradesh-Rajasthan border.
