Sony Ceases PlayStation 3 Production in Japan

30 May 2017, 06:31 | Kristen Gross

PlayStation Plus games for June include Life is Strange and Killing Floor 2

PS Plus June 2017 Lineup Reportedly Leaked By PlayStation Turkey

While Sony has yet to confirm if the post from the Turkish division of the company is valid, PlayStation Plus subscribers can still enjoy the free games that are included in the May 2017 lineup.

This news came out just after the official announcement of Life is odd 2 by the Dontnod Entertainment.

"The pair soon find themselves investigating the mysterious disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber, uncovering a dark side to life in Arcadia Bay". These two games are also available on PS4 via the Cross-buy. "Meanwhile, Max must quickly learn that changing the past can sometimes lead to a devastating future", read the game's official description.

The game is set just one month after the events of original Killing Floor and puts you right in the middle of an Apocalyptic-ish experience. With production halted in the far East, it will only be a matter of time before all the other regions will follow suit, and the PlayStation 3 will be retired after 11 years of service.

More important than any of that is the fact Sony give away 24 PS4 games a year, completely free.

Kunitz's double-OT goal sends Penguins back to Stanley Cup
Kelly has yet to dress since the first round against Boston, but the 36-year-old forward does have 91 games of playoff experience. If the Penguins win, they'll be the first Stanley Cup champion to return to the finals since Detroit in 2009.

Some of the most notable PlayStation-exclusive games that found a home on the PS3 include the first three entries in the Uncharted series, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid 4: Sons of the Patriots, several Yakuza titles, and five Ratchet & Clank games. Sony reportedly planned the games list to come out on May 31.

Q: Do you have plans to offer PS VR games on PlayStation Plus?

If the news is true, that makes for two really awesome games being made available for PS4 users.

As with every month, there's a total of six games up for grabs, four of which this month can be played on the PlayStation 4.
