Encased Nokia 9 prototype unit gets the hands-on treatment
As you'd expect, it flaunts a dual-camera setup on the back which includes two 13MP lenses, Dual-LED flash and possibly a laser autofocus window under that. The smartphone is also said to house a fingerprint scanner and will also feature an Iris Scanner as well. Still, fans anxious to learn more about the first Nokia flagship in a long while will be pleased to know that the first hands-on pictures of the phone have just emerged online.
While Nokia has yet to unveil the long-rumored Nokia 9 flagship smartphone, the folks at frandroid happened to get their hands on the device. In addition, the Nokia 9 runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, provided with the latest security updates.
While Nokia has announced 3 smartphones so far, none of them seem to be the "premium" segment devices that we expected them to be. The power button and volume rocket, meanwhile, are located along the Nokia 9's right side. Since all the leaked images were covered by "black box", it is not possible to tell much about how the phone will look. The iPhone 8, meanwhile, is also expected to feature a dual camera on the back.
The three device's specific details have yet to be made available.
Additionally, the smartphone will support fast charging QuickCharge 3.0. As of now, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Nokia 9, might be released at the end of Q3 2017. The launcher also features a light blue color theme to match Nokia's classic colors. Further, earlier this month, India Today Tech also confirmed that the smartphone maker is also set to launch Nokia 3, Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 in June.
Nokia 8 is to receive Snapdragon 660 SoC while Nokia 7 receives Snapdragon 630 SoC. HMD Global has been spotted filing four new design trademarks in Europe.
