Fury has not fought since his stunning upset against Wladimir Klitschko nearly 18 months ago, which crowned him the unified heavyweight champion.
Joshua, 27, had had to get off the canvas to beat Klitschko after being knocked down in the sixth round by the 41-year-old former champion. But Tyson believes Joshua has what it takes to reign atop the division for a long time and bring the big men back into the big time.
Heavyweight has always been the sport's glamour division, but it often lacks boxers with the personality to take advantage of the spotlight.
"The sky is the limit for him now and he is going to dominate the division and make so much money if he just keeps on doing what he's doing".
"It was a great fight".
Joshua found an extra gear in the 11th round against the Ukrainian to win with a thrilling stoppage, in a fight watched by 90,000 at Wembley and that reportedly broke British pay-per-view records.
He added: "Joshua was supposed to walk right through him as he was old and useless supposedly, but it didn't work like that did it?"
Garrett 1st to Browns, Bears trade up for QB Trubisky
Granted, he had a monster season in 2016 throwing for over 3,700 yards and 30 touchdowns, while only throwing six interceptions. After giving up the third and fourth-round picks, the Bears will now only have four remaining selections in this year's draft.
Klitschko bravely got back to his feet, but as Joshua blasted away at him along the ropes, referee David Fields stepped in and waved it off at 2:25 of the round. I want to go worldwide with him.
"The best man won tonight, and it's an fantastic moment for boxing", Klitschko said in a post-fight press conference.
The 28-year-old hasn't boxed since beating Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015 and is now without a boxing licence, but he has been training in Spain in an attempt to get back into the ring. That's what boxing is all about but most fighters just don't have that hunger.
And Fury says he will remain in Southern Spain ahead of his comeback, insisting a fighting between himself and fellow unbeaten Brit Joshua is inevitable.
"Joshua was massive before the Klitschko fight but that's taken him to another level". You're going to be financially challenged, scholastically challenged. Once it is done, and if that is Anthony Joshua, the UAE could become a main hub for boxing.
Also in the picture is the WBC champion, United States fighter Deontay Wilder, and the prospect of a high-profile showdown in NY or Las Vegas. I think that's the best Klitschko I've ever seen. "In boxing we have one discipline but we use it in different ways but in MMA there's so many different disciplines, it opens up so many different ways to win".
