Is Ubisoft Teasing New Far Cry 3 Prequel or Remaster?

For the moment, however, it is only speculation and images used by the publisher that may not necessarily indicate the existence of a remastered version or a new episode of Far Cry.

Fans have also suggested that Ubisoft is teasing a Far Cry 5 as a prequel focusing on Far Cry 3's infamous villain Vaas Montenegro. The last episode of the series, as we remind you, was called Far Cry primal, which has reshuffled the series bringing in prehistoric era.

But that's about all we know.

With E3 around the corner, we won't be surprised to see Ubisoft announce something soon. Could a remastered and beefed-up version of Far Cry 3 serve the same goal?

This Facebook post made by Ubisoft France may not confirm a new Far Cry 3 related project, but it sure feels like it's setting up for an announcement.
