Much of eastern Texas, northern Texas, southern Oklahoma, southern and central Arkansas, and Louisiana have the chance to see severe thunderstorms-including strong tornadoes in some areas (more on this later in the article).
GREENSBORO - Chances of rain and thunderstorms increase overnight as a weather system moves through the Piedmont Triad, according to the National Weather Service in Raleigh. Between two and four inches of rain could fall in the area during that time.
